All-Purpose Nano- and Microcontainers: A Review of the New Engineering Possibilities

Recently, a subcategory of nanotechnology—nano-, and microcontainers—has developed rapidly, with unexpected results. By nano- microcontainers, we mean hollow spherical structures whose shells can be organic or inorganic. These containers filled substances released when given an excitation, fulfill their missions corrosion healing, cancer therapy, cement antifouling, etc. This review summarizes the scattered innovative technology that has beneficial effects on improving people’s lives.
